Katie is passionate about helping her clients connect with their body, understand the underlying cause of their imbalances, relieve pain and discomfort and regain mobility and muscle function.
Given the right approach, tools, time, support and compassion, Katie believes that the body has an innate ability to heal. Her work as a therapist focuses on improving body mechanics, reducing stress and anxiety, and restoring balance in the body.
Katie is originally from the UK and has been living in Sydney for the last 5 years. With a background in teaching yoga and health coaching, Katie has a long and deep-seated interest in the effect that stress has on the nervous system, how it is held in the body and how it can be safely and effectively released.
Katie’s offerings include remedial and sports massage, lymphatic drainage and relaxation massage.
Katie has also studied counselling and somatic stress release techniques.
In her free time, Katie loves HIIT and functional training, practicing yoga, dog walking, photography & hiking in national parks around Sydney.
